Thanks for the hint. But i had already activated the -10s and -30s and 10s and 30s steps only. That didn't help in my case. It hangs even after -10s jumps.

Do you have the hardware acceleration on? Same settings menu in expert mode

No surprise.  KODI is rather a big mess for video playback on these Boxes. We would need an optimized KODI fork just for HiMedia, without it's mostly unpredictable what and how will work in general. I stick KODI only for IPTV streaming, that's still somewhat operational, tho' also not 100% perfect.

It works fine with me, the fast forward and jumps are smoother in Himedia Player but subtitle handling is much superior in kodi player.

There are two items:
- Allow hardware acceleration - MediaCodec (Surface)
- Allow hardware acceleration - MediaCodec

I don't now the difference, but if i deactivate both the effect is gone but the video playback isn't smooth.
If i deactivate the second one only, the effect is gone and the playback is smooth again.

Thanks for the hint.

To avoid uninstalling and reinstalling the firmware unnecessarily for verification.
Can I kindly ask someone who has installed the official FW on board, if he manages to have set the YCbCr 420 10-bit color space (DeepColorMode = 30) @60Hz on 4K HDR TV?
Since I have set YCbCr420 10bit, I always find it YCbCr422 8bit (DeepColorMode = 24).

Thanks for replying.

Can someone confirm HD Netflix/Amazon Video playback?
If so, is 5.1 audio out supported?
Egreat installs the official apk's or modified ones?

Thanks in advance.

I'm losing faith in publishing a well-functioning new firmware. I use Q10 Pro with 2.06 firmware.
I'm writing in English with little google help :)

For me the good working is 2.0.4 that does not have the problem 720x576 aspect ratio.

Which application do you use for Amazon? None of the available ones  not work for me.

(found on http://www.himediatech.com/support.htm)

Is this product still under Futeko consideration?
