Q5/Q10 Pro Custom Firmware

I have the same problem...the only solution for a proper shutdown I use right now ...is: shutting down Kodi over the shutdown button in the software and then again in the Q10 mediaplayer menu again with their shutdown button...this works for me right now

Hi all,

This is the first message of me.

I upgraded new cfw v2.1 and It works good.

I tried some true hd and dolby atmos films and I can not hear dolby atmos sound on my tv speakers.(No avr receiver)

I do not know where is my fault or Himedia q10 pro does not send atmos sound on lpcm mode?

PS:There is no matter true hd sound when i switch sound as lpcm.

Is it possible to install the manufacturer firmware over the custom firmware and not lose everything?  For example, update the box with the new 2.0.9 build via the menu driven upgrade over the CFW 2.0.8 build?  The intent would be to then (if/when released, of course) install a new CFW 2.0.9 over the manufacturers 2.0.9 version.   Or... leave well enough alone and not tempt fate! 

Also, cannot remember if the CFW install is "all or nothing", meaning that I must reinstall and configure everything anew after the upgrade.

Sure did you try kodi-20180714-e2461d69-androidrf-armeabi-v7a.apk?

Passthrough DTS/AC3 will work, as all "shitty" DTS-HD, TrueHD play as core DTS/AC3, if will activate DTS-HD, TrueHD will get only noise.

With nightlies build will not have DTS-HD, TrueHD option with CFW or DTS, DTS-HD, TrueHD with OFW.
