Did a clean install (with reset button) of the 2.0.6 CFW and experienced buffering issues with 4k files over samba and Kodi with Himedia wrapper/player.
Tried a clean install of 2.0.5 CFW and the same files play without hiccup.  Anybody else experiencing this? Is this related to CFW or original 2.0.6?
Afraid to do a dirty upgrade to 2.0.6 now for running into the same issue again.

I noticed some issues starting with 2.05 with 4k files and I have an installed internal HDD.  it would pause for a few seconds and then start back up.  I applied the 2.06 patch and it still does it.  It doesn't seem to do it all of the time though.  I've been just sticking to 1080p for now.

Not need be difference, but if you have time do  dirty/clean downgrade to CFW v2.0.5 and apply patch for CFW v2.0.6 then check speed play over samba.

I'm currently on CFW v2.0.5, if I do the patch to CFW v2.0.6 and I run into the Samba issue again: Will I be able to roll back to CFW v2.0.5 with retaining my current settings/setup?  (this is done by running the CFW v2.0.5 firmware "normally" within the OS I guess?)

ps your link to the CFW v2.0.6 patch sends me to a general/sign-up page of mediafire.
ps Maybe I just should stick with CFW v2.0.5 but my OCD part says I need the latest FW  :P

I didn't even notice any differences with 2.06, but what samba issues are you having? I had issues initially and it was because under my network settings, i left the dns server 2 blank. I couldn't see the hard drive from other computers on my network. i used 192.168.1.2 for the DNS and it solved it.  (my router is 192.168.1.1)

Buffering/hiccups during higher bit rate scenes.

No problem, about my question:

Is that the way to do it?  thx

The "HDMI suspend" function seems not to work in the 2.0.6 version. I had it working in the 2.0.4 version.
Anyone has this same issue?
THanks!

Hi, I used the patch update from CTW 2.05 to CTW 2.06 and also used apk file to update Kodi to 17.6
This results in 2 problems:
1)
I am now loosing my wired LAN connection to my NAS within 1 or 2 minutes after boot. Never had that with any of the prior upgrades.

2)
Other problem is with Kodi 5.1 raw audio when streaming. Works sometimes and sometimes only digital noise.
I use the ** repository with real debrid. Lately on 2.05 that resulted in several streams with no digital audio at all, only 2.0 but some others worked okay. Hoped this was solved in 2.06. Seems better, but as I said: not stable yet.

Suggestions are appreciated!

(CFW: 2.0.6)

Hello!

Does the full CWF 2.0.6 (update_Q10Pro_(update&themed&Kodi17.5.1)-HMD-2.0.6 2017-10-25.164125) include the auto framerate patch for HiMedia Player?

Thanks!
