Hello,

Today I installed the following version:

update_Q10Pro themednoNavBar26Kodi17.2RC1shitty%29_HMD-2.0.1_2017-01-10.164949

Mod Kodi on this version looks promising :),I'm missing visualization only.Unfortunately, youtube still starts at the lowest resolution ,and changing it with Rii remote controller  is impossible.

You should install the most recent pcristi custom firmware, 2.0.4.

I'm sorry my mistake :) I currently have installed version update_Q10Pro_(update&themed&Kodi17.4[RC1-20170629])_HMD-2.0.4 2017-07-05.174159

PS. Visualisations works fine, but Rii remote controller works worse than previous versions firmware

Today I preinstall Kodi and I can not install estuary mod v.2 pcristi do you have link for kodi with latest estuary mod?

Hi, Pcristi!

I have installed on my Q10pro your CFW 2.0.4 from 05.08.2017. (mediafire.com). In all respects, this FW is very satisfied with me. Just want to have NEW HiMediaPlayer! I do not need a mouse control. Can you please give advice on how to do this? Maybe you can place mediafire.com link with a HMP download file for replace from old to new?

Hello, I just got my Q10 Pro from my local seller for a few days.
Could I install this CFW 2.0.4 over the official 2.0.4?

I'm having trouble getting my 4TB HDD to be used in the Q10 Pro, so probably I might try other firmware in case it will fix the problem.

Hi,
Yes you can but probably won't solve your problem. Search the forum for the many posts regarding issues with hard drives.

No older firmware would help too? Even 2.0.1 or Android 5.1?

I did try a lot of stuff, formatting to GPT/NTFS which should work typically, MBR/NTFS by using minitool (because windows won't allow 4tb partition using MBR), formatting to EXT4 using minitool, delete volume and setup using Q10 Pro (android) storage setting itself, attach using my Seagate GoFlex adapter then format using laptop, clean the drive using diskpart and re-initialize, and probably others.
One thing works, which was formatting the drive to fat32. Here the Q10Pro sees the HDD as corrupted usb storage. I then use the storage setup in setting and all 4TB is visible in media center. However being fat32, it limits the file size to 4GB which is not ideal at all.
One thing I have yet to try is to connect to PC SATA port and format from there.

Take a look at this topic and post your problem there if it persists.

This is the first thing you should have tried. As far as I know any other method you described supposed not to work.

I will try with a direct sata connection to my PC motherboard. Hopefully, this will work right away.

Update: It works!
What I did:
1. Connect the HDD to direct sata connection in a desktop PC, turn on PC. Was surprised to see the HDD had 3 partitions. AFAIK last formatting on laptop via USB was 1 big partition.
2. Clean the disk using diskpart in windows.
3. Re-initialize the HDD  using the disk management in windows to GPT.
4. Format the HDD to NTFS, one partition. I check again with diskpart, there are 1 big partiton and 1 small reserve partition, I didn't bother to merge them.
5. Turn off PC, detach sata connection, and transfer HDD into Q10pro.
6. Turn on Q10pro, and boom! The HDD is seen in media center!

Well, I should have done this in the first place. Wasted one day trying to do it via USB.

PS: Sorry to post this here, since I started asking if the firmware could help, might as well finish it here.  ;)

Appearance is very similar (identical I think) to CS 2.0.1. It's worth the update. 2.0.4 is a better FW than 2.0.1 and other apps are updated.
