Q5/Q10 & Q30/Q100 Pro CS-AK Custom Firmware

(Just a custom firmware base on HMD 2.1.4)

Request(must have/do):
- backup, backup, backup.
- patience, patience, patience.
- player connect to internet.
- install with paper clip.

Installation Instructions:

FIRMWARE INSTALL CAN TAKE UP TO 10 MINUTES.
DO NOT POWER OFF DURING INSTALL.
WAIT FOR THE HOME SCREEN TO APPEAR.
PLAYER CAN REBOOT FEW TIMES.

1. Rename firmware update.zip (e.g. update_Q10Pro_CS-AK_(...)-HMD-2.1.4_Lighthome(...).zip) to update.zip.
2. Copy update.zip to the root of a USB pen drive.
3. Insert the USB pen drive into any USB port of the Q10Pro/Q5Pro/Q30.
4. With the Q10Pro/Q5Pro/Q30 turned off, use a paper clip to press and hold the the pinhole restore button on the back side of the Q10Pro/Q5Pro/Q30.
5. While keeping the RESTORE/UPGRADE button pressed, turn on the Q10Pro/Q5Pro/Q30.
6. The Q10Pro/Q5Pro/Q30 will show an Recovery Rainbow Rings logo and proceed to upgrade the firmware.
7. The box will auto-reboot few times until finished.
8. First boot can take 4-5 minutes.
9. Wait 15 minutes after first boot to allow system and apps to initialize.

en-US vs ru-RU:
- Set English language vs Russian language.
- Time zone Athens vs Moscow.
- YouTubeTV, Pandora vs SmartYouTubeTV, TORServer.

Know problems:
- WiFi always on if quicksetting is access.
- Bee Explorer support local and SMB guest only.
- Weather must be set as Moscow, London, Paris, etc.
- Google Play services may need manually updated.
- Music player has some Chinese indication(strings).
- Music player autosearch NFS/SMB not work, do from Media Center instead.

Dirty update maybe can apply between CS-AK minor update version.

CONGRATULATIONS !!!
Just two questions.
1. SUBTITLE BUG (most important for me) has it been checked for, is is RESOLVED likke in FW 2.0.1, which runs smooth for me?
2. Which kodi version is in it? Can it be replaced with good old krypton?

1 SUBTITLE BUG on this FW is fixed by HiMedia, not my trick.
2 Official Kodi 18.2 (180200).
Uninstalled as any user application, disable automatic update on Google play then install yours favorite Kodi version.

Is mean when box start first time language is set on English US or language is set on Russian.
After that user can change language same with HiMedia OFW.

After install is go to look like in screenshots.
CS-AK CFW include HoloSpiral,  Sunset Hill Free LiveWallpaper and more then 20 wallpapers.
Regular Himedia Launcher is not install on CS-AK CFW.

I installed it a few minutes ago and I am impressed, thank you.visually looks great and I hope that it will be further developed.

Music player looks fine, I do not know how to edit the main icons,But this is not a problem right now.

Who uses the CS-AK version[1.0] update_patch_Locker_for_CS-AK[1.0] are available on mediafire.
Rename as update.zip and apply from Setting/Upgrade/Local update/...

Strange situation with wrapper using Q10 Pro CS-AK Custom Firmware:
Using wrapper with media center all Nfs shares (3 synology units} are working, no problem.
Using wrapper in kodi only one share is working,  black screen for others 2.
Any advice?

Hello and thanks.
No special symbols or extended characters.
I did a fresh install and now nothing works using wrapper in Kodi.
I can see  Nfs shares but  when i play a movie i get a blank screen and a grey band up saying Video Player .
Mediacenter works with wrapper.
Kodi player works.

Already done - no success
The only solution i found is to map shares  with zeroconf browser.
