.....
Follow HiMedia CN OFW v2.1.7 2020-12-07 for box H2000 and H200 Pro.......
It is the models that I want above all H200 Pro with double HDMI output (audio only).
Why are the products I look for you can't find on the market, there is no sales channel for Europe?   :'(

HiMedia say these models are not for export.

Thank you pcristi for the excellent job for this CFW [2.1.7], it solved me a problem I could not find the solution for a few weeks and I was going crazy with various tests, using the OFW [2.1.7]
Keep it up great man

The custom firmware works fine on my Q5 pro. But I can't use the videoland app on android 7, is there a cfw with android 8 or later available?

Hi PCristi/All - I have a Q10 Pro (International Version) and would like to update to latest CFW and Kodi version.

I have already updated the firmware to OFW 2.1.7 and want to install PCristi's CFW. I see below two updates listed on mediafire. Which one should I be using -

update_Q10Pro(CFW-Lite[MStyle])[1.1]-HMD-2.1.7 2020-12-03.153450.zip
update_Q10Pro_(update&themed&Kodi18.2)[v1.1]-HMD-2.1.7 2020-08-18.140128.zip

Also will I automatically get latest Kodi (19.3?) when I update using the above? If not, how do I install latest Kodi after updating to one the above CFWs.

Thanks a bunch in advance!!

Hi guys,

I own a Q10 Pro.

Model Number : Q10 Pro
Andriod version : 7.0
Build number : HMD-2.0.9 2018-07-10.172915
Ethernet mac : 00:66:DE:oD:D2:CO
WiFi mac : cc:b8:a8:08:76:a8

Now I want to update it but can't manage it.
I have followed the steps below but am not getting any new software on it:

1. Rename firmware update .zip (e.g. update_Q(...)Pro_(...)_HMD-1.0.8(...).zip) to update.zip.
2. Copy update.zip to the root of a USB pen drive.
3. Insert the USB pen drive into any USB port of the Q10/Q5Pro.
4. With the Q10/Q5Pro turned off, use a paper clip or pen to press and hold the the pinhole restore button on the back side of the Q10/Q5Pro.
5. While keeping the RESTORE/UPGRADE button pressed, turn on the Q10/Q5Pro.
6. The Q10/Q5Pro will show an Android logo and proceed to upgrade the firmware.
7. The box will auto-reboot when finished.
8. First boot can take 4-5 minutes.
9. Wait 15 minutes after first boot to allow system and apps to initialise.

update_Q10Pro(CFW-Lite[MStyle])[1.1]-HMD-2.1.7 2020-12-03.153450
I have downloaded this software on a USB-pen and follow the 9 steps above:

Can someone help me with the latest software and explain how I can put it on or is there maybe a video of how someone puts this on?

I would like to hear from you guys.

Regards, Ajoep

Only thing I ran into in the past was the 3 steps below that were important in my case. I tried using 32GB/64GB pen drives and didn't work for me but again might of been the manufacturer of the USB drives or other factors but using USB drives 16GB or less always worked perfect. Good luck.

1. Use a USB pen drive 16GB or less AND MUST be formatted as FAT32

2. Make sure that the name of the file is actually update.zip....windows can play tricks on you unless you've enabled the option that displays filename extensions...

Windows 10:

a) Open File Explorer; if you do not have an icon for this in the task bar; click Start, click Windows System, and then File Explorer.
b) Click the View tab in File Explorer
c) Click the box next to File name extensions to see file extensions

3. While holding the pin in with a paper clip AND applying power I never let go of the paper clip until I've counted to 15....very important that while holding in the pin and applying power that you continue to apply pressure while counting. I ended up having my wife hold the pin in while I applied the power and never a problem.

Thanks for your response atkinsom,

I really don't understand what's going wrong.

I found a stick of 4GB.
I formatted it with FAT32.

Then put the following file on the stick:
update_Q10Pro(CFW-Lite[MStyle])[1.1]-HMD-2.1.7 2020-12-03.153450
I gave the file a new name:
update.zip

first disconnected the power (plug from the back).
I put the USB stick in the USB blue port.
Hold the button down with a pepper clip, plug it in and then count to 15 sec with the pepper clip holding the button. button released after 15 sec when a circle was already on TV.

End of story, the Q10 cleared all my extra apps from the device and I still see the old screen and data as I described in my previous post above.

Could someone tell me where this is going wrong?
Am I not doing the actions right?
Can I do an update with this file:
update_Q10Pro(CFW-Lite[MStyle])[1.1]-HMD-2.1.7 2020-12-03.153450

I myself live in the Netherlands, Rotterdam.
Is there someone nearby who can help me?

Install firmware version 2.1.4 first and then 2.1.7.

Is there no file I can update whit the USB menu?
Do I need to use an older version for the update?

Thanks Pcristi and everyone on this forum it works!!!!  ;D ;D ;D

I just have one last question.
I first installed 2.1.4 on the Q10 and then the 2.1.7
On the 2.1.4 I was able to find a playstore but not on the 2.1.7
Can someone tell me where I can find the playstore on 2.1.7?

I would like to download disney+ and the Amazon app on it.

To get Play store on FW v2.1.7 need install additional update from Q10Pro / Q5Pro / Q30 / Q100 Official firmware version 2.1.7 topic https://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=4864.0

Because DRM ID of Q10/Q5 Pro are now banned I don't think Disney+ and Amazon Prime are still working.

Enjoy HiMedia player.

Hi,
after update to 2.1.7 my Q10 Pro went mad. It shutdown all he time by itself . I'm going to the menus and suddenly it shutdown. I left it alone for some minutes and it shutdown. I exit Kodi and it shutdown. I configure Kodi and it shutdown.

After start, the focus on the icons sometimes changes by itself and sometimes, directly Kodi or the Application List is started. It seems that it is remote controlled by someone else.
When it shutdown, all lights on the front display are flashing.  When it goes down all windows will be closed before. Its not like pulling the plug, rather than a regular shutdown.

The installation was a little bit special.
After first installation of 2.1.7 some Apps were missing (e.g. Kodi) . In the Home Screen the Icons were replaced with Android Signs. So I downloaded 2.1.7 again and tried to reinstall it. But the installation did not startet (perhaps because 2.1.7 was already installed)
Therefore I tried to install 2.1.6, which was successful.  Afterwards I could install 2.1.7 again.

Any ideas?

 Ralph
