New 2.0.6 dont like it.

edit: I used a local upgrade in 2.0.5, and everything went well, then I only used patch on V 2.0.6.
        Everything works without data loss.

At present I use, with satisfaction, the official 1.1 firmware (Android 5.1) and I would like to try the latest unofficial 2.06 firmware.
My fear and if I'm not satisfied I can go back to the official firmware?
Also, compared to the official firmware, it only changes the graphic appearance?

There are some different apps installed and you can uninstall apps that you don't want (not possible with pre-installed apps with official)
There are some bugs fixed.
Basically it's a tuned firmware version that you can personalize further if you want.

I'm still having this subtitle issue.  I think it started after 2.05 update. Subtitles are ON by default even thought i keep turning them off.  Is there another setting somewhere that I'm missing?

Yes is general problems of HiMedia FW 2.0.5/2.0.6 can't be fixed/avoid in custom firmware.

I am on 2.0.6 CFW.
Subtitle issue is strange, to say the least.
In my case, I allways turn external subtitles ON, and when I start Q10Pro again and Kodi, I always find them OFF, and have to turn them on again.

Did a clean install (with reset button) of the 2.0.6 CFW and experienced buffering issues with 4k files over samba and Kodi with Himedia wrapper/player.
Tried a clean install of 2.0.5 CFW and the same files play without hiccup.  Anybody else experiencing this? Is this related to CFW or original 2.0.6?
Afraid to do a dirty upgrade to 2.0.6 now for running into the same issue again.

Not need be difference, but if you have time do  dirty/clean downgrade to CFW v2.0.5 and apply patch for CFW v2.0.6 then check speed play over samba.
