I think reformatting the USB stick and re-copying update.zip (remember to rename for custom firmware) will work.

I've just tried installing the 2.0.1 software using a different usb stick over the latest customised software and it refuses to install the 2.0.1, I followed all the steps including renaming the zip file update.zip but to no avail, any suggestions would be appreciated.

i tried everything,I change 3 usb drive i formate to fAT32 but still not working ,i even tried to install again android 7 and its works fine with same usb stick but with custom firmware not working even rename update.zip

I installed Q10 PRO ANDROID 5.1 TO ANDROID 7 MIGRATION FIRMWARE and then HMD-2.0.0. I tested => not network and no Wi-Fi. I installed HMD-2.0.1 => no network and no Wi-Fi. I installed the last custom firmware HMD-2.0.3 and the result is the same as the previous, no network and no Wi-Fi. The hardware should be the same for all the Q10 pro so, I do not understand why for me I have this problem and for other devices not this kind of problem.
Consequently I downgraded my Q10 pro and I reinstalled HMD-1.0.9 the network and Wi-Fi work correctly then I installed the last CF in android 5.1 =>HMD-1.1.0 everything ok
So I would to now, why with my Q10 pro it is impossible to upgrade in HMD-2.X.X and android 7?

This is the first time I've heard of no network on Q10 Pro Android 7 firmware.

As far as I know all Q10 Pro hardware is the same.

Where did you buy your Q10 Pro from?

Does your network hardware work at all? Can you see any wifi networks in Settings - Network?

For all the upgrade version 2.X.X i have network problem
With Ethernet => the status is connected but the auto detection does not work and everything stay at zero like IP: 0.0.0.0
with the Wi-Fi after connexion noting operate 
for all the previous version 1.X.X i have no problem of network, Ethernet auto detection => ok and Wifi also so it is why for the moment i chose to downgrade my Q10 pro

A bug found in 2.0.4 (Kodi): via NFS share,  kodi player is default.
Same share but via SMB, wrapper is default.
