Thank pcristi so much! And I see in CS FW, some apps not included Whicons - White Icon can change color following it such as some stock himedia icons. So How can color some apps like Whicons - White Icon.

I tried to download the custom firmware version Q5 PRO 2.0.3, but we seem to need a media fire authorization, so I could not download it  - Am I missing something ?

First thanks to pcristi ...... for all the hard work and the great custom firmware.
I have eventually (after reading everything and getting depressed) applied the latest Custom Firmware update and for me it works great for all my video's on my NAS boxes.... including Kodi!
 
I come from HDI Dune(with Zappitti software for the video library/wall art) /Mede8er and I have to say that once i have got used to the Rii mouse everything works surprisingly cleanly. I have something like 500 movies/TV show's mostly from Bluray and transformed to mkv and they run really well.

I have made the decision based on the issues expressed on this forum to keep the Q10 Pro purely for my Movies/TV shows and so far that seems to be the correct decision ...... the other Kodi stuff/IPTV runs off one of my E2/Linux sat receivers where the Kodi 17 plugin also works well....keeping the two tasks apart seems to keep both Kodi 17 setups stable.

Sorry if this is a newbie question.  I just upgraded my firmware on Q10pro from pcristi.  The UI is black and white, is this suppose to be like this and is there any way to change to colour?

Yes. Just install 2.0.1 according to the instructions in the opening post of the firmware thread.

Any Android 7 firmware can be installed over any other. It's only when moving between Android 5.1 and Android 7 that things are slightly more difficult.

Thanks to HiMedia for fixing 23.976fps regression (Fixed the issue of 24hz ,Be consistent with android 5.1).

Full HD video output --> video file 23.976fps --> output Full HD/23.97Hz
4K UHD  video output --> video file 23.976fps --> output 4K UHD/23.97Hz
DCI 4K  video output -->  video file 23.976fps -->  output 4K UHD/23.97Hz

All apps update to last version available on day of repack.

Update autoFMTswitch_1.1.1 online  to follow this change, install this patch only if really need additional fps switching.
PS: This repack don't fix HDR aspect ratio, for play HDR video files try KODI 17 with internal VideoPlayer don't forgot to check if mediacodec(surface) is enabled.
