When will android 8 come with q10pro?

There is no benefit in running Android 8. This has been asked before and answered as well before. We need a firmware with the least bugs, there are still some and I suspect there will not be a newer firmware anymore.

How do you know there will be no new firmware anymore?
And why you have firmware 2.0.0 when there is 2.1.4 ?

YouTube app is no longer compatible with himedia q10 pro now. I've been running version 1.01 android 5 when I got that trying to access youtube few hours ago. Now I've updated my box to android 7 build 2.1.4 and still it's saying youtube app is not compatible. I take it we gotta wait for new build?

I didn't have this trouble since I've installed the 2.1.1 FW, when it came out, but some weeks ago it started to happen that it won't detect my Windows SMB shares correctly. In KODI it shows the Folders and files correctly but with Wrapper it won't start the videos and directly from Media Center the folders showing up are scrambled and lots of them are missing. The only thing that helps is to reboot the Box, sometimes needed multiple times, than it somehow fixes itself.

Anyone else encountered the problem?

I think HiMedia is considery Q10Pro as a legacy product.
Neither firmware nor Android uodates.

Important question to Futeko (please don't ignore it!): Will there any new updates for Q5 Pro and Q10 Pro anytime, or the FW development is now totally dropped by HiMedia on these Boxes? If you don't know yet for sure, please ask HiMedia directly regarding for sure answer.

Also ask them if they will fix the NAS Network Share problem with Wrapper, I've read many complains regarding and would be such a odd thing to left the last released FW with this mayor issue.

Strange that himediatech website does not host their firmwares anymore. Its as if the company has abandoned providing any firmwares for their products anymore to end users and will only deal with the wholesalers/retailers.

A lesson to be learned now for purchasing any furure himedia products.
