5. wrapper kodi, BDMV. yes... OK now. (but i don't use kodi for playback, prefer native player).
It still does not work for me. Over NFS KODI is unable to push the playback to Media Center, the playback never starts, only "Videoplayer" text on the top-left corner of the screen, just like with the previous firmware.

Point 5 is fixing bug introduce on FW v2.1.2.
Wrapper+NFS black screens introduce on FW v.2.1.1 are still present on v2.1.4.
Give a try of last CFW/CS-AK/ATV version where that problems is solved.

Neither was working in OFW 2.1.1, you need to manually modify the playercorefactory. xml file:

Under section <!--network protocol rules--> replace lines with these:

Code: [Select]
<rule protocols="http|https|rtmp|sop" player="VideoPlayer" /> <!--all http-->
<rule protocols="nfs|smb" player="Wrapper" /> <!--all nfs|smb-->

That makes it work again with NFS.

You can find playecorefactory in: root/sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/

Easier to do it on a PC than Copy back the whole file to the Box.

I have some problems to update to new version.
I renamed to "Update.zip" the file  "Q10 PRO FIRMWARE 2.1.4. INSTALL ON ANDROID 7 V2.0.4.+ ONLY.FUTEKO.HMD-2.1.4. 2019-05-31.zip" downloaded from mediafire.
the file is  on usb drive and inserted in Himedia port.
I went to himedia settings and launched local update and it restarted and i sow this image and not updated.
what i have to do?

details about my Q10 pro:
Android version 7.0
kernel version 3.18.24
build number HMD-2.0.6 2017-1'-25.164125

The file should not be renamed, must be decompressed.
You have unzipped the file you downloaded, inside which there are 2 more files
"readme.txt"
"update.zip"

Only the "update.zip" file must be copied to a USB stick formatted in FAT32

Eventually after performing the procedure, when you restart HiMedia the firmware is still the previous version, try the procedure again 2 or 3 times.

Update to firmware v2.1.4

5. Kodi couldn't auto switch player in the wrapper under NFS Playback issue fixed

Still cannot use wrapper in kodi under NFS playback.

Anyone manage to make it work?

Hi,
Have updated to the official firmware 2.1.4 via the paperclip method. I've noticed in MediaCentre when playing audio files there is some Chinese text in the middle of the screen & the graphics on the left hand side display random pictures not related to the audio file. Is this normal?

@DaveM, @nandish,

???????? --> Get more features press down

??????... --> Searching lyrics...

?????? --> Temporarily no lyrics

Their presence on English language already report as exist from v2.1.2 and HiMedia informed.

Please do not quote the entire post.

thank you DMD
I tried 3 times but still old version.
i'm following this procedure:

2. Insert the USB pen drive into any USB port of Q10 Pro.
3. With Q10 Pro turned off, use a paper clip or pen to press and hold the the pinhole UPGRADE button on the back of Q10 Pro (next to the power port).
4. While keeping the UPGRADE button pressed, turn on the Q10 Pro.
5. Q10 Pro will showthe Android 7 coloured circle logo.
6. When you see the circle logo you can release the restore button.
7. A progress bar will indicate update progress. Do not turn box off or use the box/remote during update!

At point 7 i dont see the progress bar but just Hidemia logo for 2/3 minutes ad after the HImedia menu

what i miss?

If the official firmware downloaded is the correct one I don't know what the problem may be.
The procedure is correct.

Try another USB drive, smaller is better. Try another USB port and try another firmware version like 2.11.

Is auto-resolution and auto-framerate patch still working with the latest OFW? cause i tried and there is no 24p setting anymore and output doesnt switch (direct output)
