Imprex Engine does not not keep the settings, it is a fake .
If you call directly from custom key , you see it is reset.
A high level SOC  with a stupid FW from lazy company who sell just some hardware, nothing else.

Please explain how to demonstrate this.

In the new player, the settings are apparently saved, when you use the shortcut from  remote to Imprex Engine,  the settings are reset.

It can make a clear difference to the image.

This is the truth.

+1

I also noticed this issue (i come to 2.0.4 from 2.0.3 and never seen this).
Also now i have (sometimes) movie stops after 50-60 mins, without reasons. (it happened twice in 3 days). Never before with same files.

Well, i think these upgrades introduce only estetical improvements, but not big base improvements as we need. (i own Q5 Pro since 1 year, starting with fw 1.0.5).

I'm on 2.0.1 because this problem was exist in the 2.0.3 as well.

Dear daruma, you're right!
Yesterday i rollback to 2.0.3 and flickering with Imprex On is there!  >:(
I'm bore about changing firmware and notice no upgrade!

I know I have asked this before, but is there a special section to provide options / extra features?

I'm using the new 2.0.4 firmware and I have to say this is a very good and stable firmware for the things i'm using. 4K, HDR, framerates and scaling works as it should so a positive shoutout to the developers.

The only thing that bothers me is the speed when opening folders / maps.  In previous firmware versions there was no animation used on folders. Currently there is and that is probally what is causing a massive delay. In previous firmware versions when I open folders that contain over 1.000 folders it was shown within 2 seconds. Currently this takes over 32 seconds which is not that great. Next to that also the next and previous buttons don't work anymore.

In addition to that it would be a nice to have feature to set the option to make folders more visible on screen. Currently this is 9. For example:

extrasmall: 20 folders
small: 15 folders
normal: 9 folders
large: 6 folders

This makes browsing through folders much more of a pleasant experience

no!!!!    you go to android 7 vers.2.0.1 and then update to 2.03 and then 2.04.  but I  do not recommend it to you. I stayed at 5.1 vers. 1.1.0.
I do not like the version 7 android and 2.04 has many problems........

I do not like the version android 7 and 2.04 has many problems with audio. Even though I'm not very happy with himedia firmware, because I still do
Today does not read 4k bluray full 1.1 with menus, which other contestants read instead.

For me, the last Android 5.1 version that worked  well was 1.09.  1.1.0 disabled a USB port.  I thought the same thing as you about Android 7 versions until  most recent 2.0.4.  While it still has some bugs (I have to use an external file explorer because Himedia Media Center won't connect to my  network drive) it is working pretty good for me.
