Still no news from Himedia - Futeko. I believe they don't care about their products and customers, about so may problems, about so many complains every day.... The most important thing for each company, is the happiness of his customer, for Himedia it's not so?

So disappointing! I stopped using it, worst investment ever! I am better off using my old trustworthy NEO U1.

Is there any little hope for new firmware from HiMedia? The official website has remained unchanged.
I'm writing in English with little google help :)

In recent years, I've had such expensive brands as Minix and Zidoo, and it's the same as HiMedia now, after one year, no updates and bad support!
Then you can better buy a cheap box every year!

Next time I buy a Windows based box.
You can use that for many other things (ie to watch Amazon Video.... ).

On minix U9H H it's possible to have Netflix in HD, perfect assistance, frequent updates (minix x8h is still updated after years), no frills, no bells, only a well functioning media box

Very unpleasantly NOT client-oriented attitude from Himedia. And I mean Himedia only, not Futeko, our host and reseller who has done its best to push-pull our needs to/from Himedia.
This is how Himedia could lose its client-base in time. Bad reputation establishes rapidly if not counter-acted.
Sometimes I understand that developing code and fixing bugs takes time and effort, BUT i need at least feedback and reassurance that efforts ARE being made so that I become a team-mate with Himedia.
Other firmwares from other machiens don't have these many bugs...
They should provide at least feedback about the stage of development, problems, expectations. They owe us at least that much.
Cheers, everyone.

Actually if anyone read the forum can realize that to solve 95% of the bugs you need to do the following:

This way you have DVD menu, correct subtitles, 4K HDR with correct ratio, HD audio passthrough and everything else ppl crying for. And you can find solution for the smaller issues in the Q5/Q10 Pro FAQ or if you use search function or ask.

Only thing that won't work or doesn't have a workaround:
  • 3D BD iso with 23.976 is shuttering
  • 3D MVC 23.976 plays in 2D mode
  • 2160p@60Hz output setting sometimes got forgotten

As  far as I remember, but the 2.0.3 reintroduced the gamma flashing more intensively (when any feature of Imprex is on), and I guess CFW wouldn't solve that . Any clues if it's been solved (or worsened) in the 1.1.0?!  :??? (Also present "sometimes" in 1.0.9, only 1.0.7 is free from the issue).

As far as I know the 1.1.0 only have the downside, that on Q5 it looses one USB port. Any more experience on any other bugs?!
