Indeed  " bmachinima ", I own  2 LG TVs with WEBOS and the cursors are very very good. And they are 3 sizes. They are superb. With 3 colors they could be INCREDIBLE.
So I ask myself - Could Himedia develop a bunch of 3 new and simple cursors with 3 sizes and 3 colors (at least) or I have to edit them myself? ( I don`t know how to do it but I`ll learn if I must)

With this latest OTA update there is a "huge" problem.
I rund Kodi 17.0 wrapped with HiMedia-Player.
When watching movies, if I need to correct the subtitles delay, it induces quite alot of micro studdering to the video.
Even the slightest correction of subtitle timing, and the video is "unwatchable" due to annoying studders.
Only way to get rid of studder, is to set subtitles timing to 0, stop the video and restart it.

Can this be adressed in a future update, as many tv-series and movies have off set up to several seconds between subtitles and words spoken.

Because it's ugly! There's a reason why Windows and Mac interfaces have simple pointing arrows as cursors, they don't feel cheap.

I quite like it. The cursor has to be bigger for use on a TV where you sit further away than a computer monitor?

Indeed, it has to be bigger than a regular windows or mac cursors. Probably wasn't a good example.
A good example will be the cursor of the WEB OS for instance. It was designed with that distance in mind and it doesn't "offend" the rest of the interface.

Yea it has to be somewhat bigger, but in this case it's just an overkill and also feels a bit cheapy and somewhat hilarious... This pointer makes it close to the feel of a budget S905 Box...  Reducing it's size to it's half would be much better, otherwise it would look OK. But hey, why not an option to change and select between a couple of different looking and colored pointers as well?! Customizability isn't a bad direction by any means, would increase the overall user satisfaction and experience. And I don't think this would cost Himedia too much effort to implement in the fw.

Such a thing would require rather a lot of minor and less minor coding. I think you underestimate what needs to be done to achieve this. Besideds, from what I gather on the forum, I think they enough issues to resolve before polishing and adding features. I myself am still on 1.1.0 because of all the suspected instabilities I have been reading about. Adding the new audio SDK would be a much bigger priority if you'd ask me, then configuring a cursor pointer. A nice feature offcourse, but really a nice-to-have ...

Now I check for update and there is no update. I'm confused but it seems kinda weird.  One good thing is that it appears that the wrapper is working now, it didn't work in 2.0.1.  Also now I do not have the problem of hanging when shutting down the box using the remote.

While you'r playing a movie yes, there's the past playtime displayed (but not the remaining). And while there's no playback it shows the current time of your timezone.

Or you can switch it off completely.

All mighty error 12001. And Netflix app crashing after every episode and refuse to start with error 12001.
That was on all firmwares and is not unique to Himedia. Clearing cache and app data helps, you don't need to uninstall it and reinstall it to get out of that loop.

While digging into it this doesn't look to be something Himedia can fix. Some work has to be done by Netflix and they are not that willing to do it. The same approach with restricting devices to access high resolution streams. My guess is while they are blaming copyright protection, there's something in the app that causes the troubles, slightly on purpose.

The cheapest reliable option for Netflix remains a Chromecast.

Thanks for the info. Rolled back to latest fw android 5. Netflix is a bit slower but works fine.... kodi needs the wrapper work around. Never perfect :)

Upon browsing YouTube movies by ~1 hour it starts to pop-up annoying message about stopping some application. It is necessary to use 'Return' key but after a while (~1min) it comes again. After power off/on cycle, for another hour it behaves okay.
Can anybody confirm such issue on Q10 Pro with 2.0.3 official firmware? I don't have nothing suspicious on my device, just regular one, no additional tool installed. Due to this issue I had to step back to 2.0.1, here You Tube works as expected.

Additional issue - I can't set MediaCenter to play several movies one-by-one and stop by last movie in specific folder.
I can play single file, I can set mode to play files in the loop (return to the first file after finishing with the last one).
Why 'single cycle' mode doesn't do what I'd expected? Do I understand this mode wrongly?
I use Q10Pro to watch films I captured during my holidays, there are several files grouped within single folder named by day of capture.

I've got exactly the same problem with popups during watching movies as jedpod. One time for an hour it's showing up.. need to exist from the movie and play again to rewind to the same point (annoying). I need to install add blocker? I have installation file but for the phones. As I understand I'm able to install this app manually??

This is a problem with firmware 2.0.3 firmware specifically.

There is a private beta bug-fix 2.0.4 already which will be made public soon. It will fix this bug.

In the meantime I recommend installing 2.0.1 or 1.1.0 if you can't live with 2.0.3.

I can live with 2.0.1. Installed 2.0.3 just because I thought naively newer = better.

Does anybody knows the answer for the second topic: how to  set MediaCenter to play all movies in specific folder one-by-one and stop by last movie ?
Actually I need to break the infinitive loop manually, I can't believe that I'm alone bothered with this "feature".
Existing option should be kept but possibility to run only one cycle should be implemented correctly.

Tu my understanding device should offer:
1. play all files from the folder (available when key 'Play' used against folder name). It would be perfect to keep tracking which media file been watched recently and use this file for resume if the same folder selected again.
2. play all files from the same folder, starting from the selected one when key 'Play' used against media file name (default action for 'Play' command). It means if 5th file selected - skip the first 4 files.
3. play all files from the folder cyclically as infinitive loop (available from context menu)
4. play only selected file (available from context menu)

Additional option to consider is using numeric buttons for searching position within media file the same way as for enigma-2 (ie. satellite receiver VuDuo). When use '3' it skips by 15 seconds forward, '6' - 60 seconds, '9' - 5 minutes, the same for '1', '4' and '7' but it is jump backward. It is very efficient and fast. In order to find specific spot I don't need to use my eyes. It is much faster the playing with speed and rewind buttons.
