it seems they made the BETA > FINAL!

Quote
Q10Pro 1.0.3 beta  2016/05/24
HMD-1.0.3 2016-05-23.124800

This is what I installed yesterday....little from myself....it takes a loooooong time booting up after the update!
The silver HiMedia logo is displayed a very long time and then it jumps right into start screen.
Be patient!!!

Yes.

I've created a thread for the 1.0.3 official firmware.

Please discuss it here: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=907.0

In my Himedia 900b i had the choice to view my movies with their covers. Is there a setting in q10pro to view also my covers?

Not in the Himedia media player app.

I recommend using Kodi. It is the best app anywhere for displaying coverart.

i have downloaded the covers of my movies and the srt's respectively in the same folder using the name of the mkv file, so in my 900b i saw the thumbnails with covers. I understand that the q10pro can't do that but how can kodi. I'm talking about the movies that already have in my hard drives

Kodi will automatically use the cover images and srt files in your movie folders.

It will only attempt to find alternative cover thumbnails if no cover info is already present.

Is it important the folder name and the movie name to be same? For ex. I have the folder name "Into the Wild (2007) DUAL" and the movie name inside that folder as "Into the Wild" and "1" as the name of the cover as a JPEG . Kodi has problem if the folder name contains "DUAL" which doesn't exist in the name the movie.

A question . In relation to color, in YCbCr422 , how many bits are? Is that does not say. Firmware 1.0.3

this has nothing to do with "bit". THIS is just color depth! two completely different things.

I misspoke . Both RGB , and 420 and 444 there is a choice of 8 or 10 bits. YCbCr422 only one option appears, without specifying the bits.

I noticed this also..  In latest firmware I seem to have these options

- YCbCr422
- YCbCr422 8bit
- YCbCr422 10bit
