There are people who post in this forum who are beta testers for HImedia.  They have had beta firmware for weeks and have been posting on kodi forums about some of the fixes

I've installed the beta firmware which was updated yesterday and HDR works and the inbuilt YouTube is 4K now. It is definitely improved over the 1.0.1 firmware.
