Hi:

First I am located in the US (hope it is OK I am doing posts here)

The Firmware on my box is HMD-1.0.8 2014-03-25.20

The firmware at HiMedia (http://www.himediatech.com/support.htm) is HMD-3.0.2 2015-11-05.105633

I was wondering can I install this Firmware on my Box?

My box Boots up and says "Q5 <some Chinese symbols> 2000
The whole carousel of images (games / movies) are Chinese - Surely would like to get rid of these.

ANY Help appreciated

you can install only chinese firmware, (you can not install Futeko!)

You have the Q5 version intended for sale/use in China only.

You can only install the China firmware.
