3. Got rid of 4096*2160 resolution.
How about bright flashes that appear during playback?
To me, the only way to get rid of it is by switching the resolution to 4096*2160.
(Turning off Dynamic Contrast doesn't work at all)

Disable imprex engine
Well, somehow it worked ???
This trick didn't work in the previous version (2.0.6)
Case solved... thx

How to return the update to the exact previous version (2.0.6)?
Do I have to reset factory and start from the beginning?

You can go back to 2.0.6 by installing it as normal according to instructions here: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=2526.0

I've been pointing it out to them since December.

We are compiling a new bug list for 2.0.7 based on replies on this forum and will be sending it to them later today. It will include this bug at the top of list, it is one of the most serious.

It still needs the Blue ray patch .

Futeko, can you confirm this?

Also, does in need the Auto framerate switching patch???

It still needs the Blu-Ray patch. The changelog I was given yesterday has since been revised (item 1) to remove the claim that BD menus is included.

It doesn't need the auto framerate patch, the official firmware never has. However, if you want the additional auto-switching offered by the patch you can choose to install it. http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=1043.0

@ Mount81 and futeko.com

We use a analog wireless headphone on the RCA,
and the amp is connected on the digital RCA (Coax)
and yes there is a delay, i think about 100 ms.

normally no issue for us, I look tv my wife listens to music,
so i didn't report it....

Thanks for testing. I will include it in today's 2.0.7 bug report to HiMedia.

Hello Futeko!

I can confirm the bug that the subtitles are running now in 2.07 with a wrong timing.
Please report this to HiMedia.

Cheers

Installed yesterday the new firmware, afterwards rebooted twice to settle the firmware and power off/on. I have issues of not playing AVI files from Media Center

The Full BD Menu patch did need the framerate patch in previous firmwares, as it did not switch to the correct 23.976Hz if a BD is started from the Full Menu and the output remained 60Hz all the time. Did it change in the 2.0.7 fw? If not it would still need the addition of the fps patch as well (or the total preterition of the Full menu patch, which I would more likely to prefer over the inherent use of the "home-made" fps switching patch) just like before.

2.0.7 is the same as 2.0.6 in this regard.

Where is the bluray menu patch ? Maybe it's just me, but I could not find it on the 2.0.7 release post, nor on the FAQ.
