Hi,

Is this patch work on playing UHD BD/BD/DVD Folder?

How can I select external SRT subtitle on playing UHD BD/BD/DVD Folders?

One more question, I found on a German website they offer item similar to Q10 Pro but quoted it supports 10TB HDD. Is this also apply to Q10 Pro, Is anyone ever try?

Thanks

Yes it should work on UHD BD/BD/DVD Folder.

10TB HDD should work OK. In fact, I don't think there is an upper limit, it's more that the larger drives haven't been tested.

I'd be interested in what's the largest HDD anyone has tested in a Q10 Pro? 10TB+?

There is a new version of Q10 Pro firmware 2.0.6 which includes the BD menu patch.

It's not officially from HiMedia, but, well, they certainly pointed me in the direction of it's existence.  :o

Q10 Pro only. No changes from 2.0.6 except BD menu patch included. Link is direct to update.zip so copy update.zip direct to USB stick.

Does it have the auto frequency switching corrected when the playback is started from the full BD menu?

Regarding: if not, can we still load up the Himedia BD menu inside the full BD menu to least start the playback from there (selecting the main title), and will it then playback the video content on the correct frequency?

WOW, what an exhausting and useful answer to all of my concerned questions!

Thanks for the great "support"!

Today I was playing a bluray and the next button on the remote took me to the next indeed. The next bluray on my drive, that is.
Luckily I found this on the forum and tried the patch on my firmware 2.0.6 official.

I did as described in the first post but the app never showed up. I restated the Q10, no bluray app. Tried to install again. Same thing.
Took the device off the power and started agin. Still no app anywhere to be found.

But magically there is now a menu when I open a bluray and this time when I press next it takes me to the next chapter on the bluray.
So far so good. I'll check on the auto frame rate switch later.

Can someone confirm the bug in the auto framerate switching? I also have noticed this only when I start the bluray with the full menu. I noticed that when I start the bluray with the lite menu first, and then stop and start the full menu, the framerate is switched correctlt to 24.
Is there another way, or most inportant do we think this bug will be solved in a next firmware?
The player is very good, but this is almost a dealbreaker.

Thx, but still a little confused. Do I need to install 2 patches for Kodi and for the Himedia mediaplayer to solve the framerate bug?
I read both, but its difficult to determine which one is settled in the newer firmware allready.

The user made framrate patch is not a solution for me. HiMedia needs to implement the correct Hz switching in to the BD menu app itself as well.

However it's a peripheral issue for me at the moment, HiMedia still needs to fix and implement a lots of other, more important things in to the new firmware. Due to the SD/.avi video issue the 2.0.7 was rather disastrous. I'm Still sticked to 2.0.6 despite it has this annoying lip-sync issue. Wonder how 2.0.8 will accomplish.
