Hi I am thinking about installing and testing the new firmware. How about boottime, is the startup as fast as with firmware 5.1 ?

Upgrade was successful, but this firmware does not seem to recognize my BD/DVD-ROM drive, as the previous one did.

Please, could others also test it, to confirm this is a new bug ?

First boot takes quite a while.
After that boot time is more or less the same as Android 5

After Android 7 upgrade, Kodi shows duplicate hard disks ...  Two SDA1,Two SDA2... you have also?

Yep mine too, Kodi displays two (2) SDA2

Yes, it does show the HDD twice. First impression is not so good.

The only good thing is that now, on WiFi, HBO Go is working. Boot time is just as with 5.1.1. Root seems to work as before. We have lost the possibility to disable the on-screen keyboard (if someone else knows how to do it, please post here). I still have to see memory consumption. It used to be quite laggy after a long period of time on Android 5.1.1.

I make the first step for Android 7 and just start ERROR ...
I try to put the Q10 PRO FIRMWARE. 1.0.8-FUTEKO-EN. HMD-1.0.8 2016-10-12.193826.zip and just start ERROR ...

Do what you do NOW, always mistake, nothing else begins ...


What do I do now?

Installed new firmware step 1 and step 2. Now, same problem as everyone else, have two of each hard drive showing sd1, sd2, sd3 & sd4 shows up twice in kodi.  No way I can see to delete the duplicate drives, one will say no path found and the other will be OK.

Also, cannot add any drives or movies in Kodi in the add movies section of Videos. Anyone have the same problem.

Why is Himedia not checking their firmwares before releasing to the public. If we could find these problems in a few minutes, HiMedia should have caught them as well.

addon work and the system command is equal like  "disptest setfmt 79" , there are some problem with permission.

OK, just unistalled Kodi 16 and installed latest Kodi 17 beta and everything's working fine now. At least for not showing duplicate hard drives :-)
