« on: November 17, 2016, 04:32:10 PM »
Hello, I am new and I am here because i have a problem with my himedia q10 pro and I need help please
I have a hisense 65xt910 TV wich is 4K hdr and my problem is when i set the resolution of the box to 2160p60 and reboot, the screen is separated in 2 parts and totally blurry on boot screen and home screen (after a restart)
So what is the problem ?  :-\  I have 18 gbps hdmi cable so I dont think the problem is it

I did try different hdmi ports and 2160p50 ... same problem (there is no Auto mode)
The problem occurs even in other resolutions like 1080p and 720 so it's not a uhd problem !  :'( :'( :'(
There is some pictures of the problem : http://imgur.com/a/jwflr

Edit : the solution I found is to never restart the box when it's working ...
Edit : I installed the 1.0.8 firmware with a ntfs usb drive, is this the problem ?

yes, something like that...green and double picture...sometimes half picture with green.
everytime was different but the same artefacts.
sometimes i fixed it with changing resolution in box...uhd to hd and hd to uhd...but it did not always work.
firmware fixed it.
my tv is Philips 65pus7600

Maybe the TV or maybe the HDMI cable.

Try the supplied cable, does it make any difference?

I already tried the supplied cable and I thought it was the problem so I bought one new in a shop for 40$ ! It's a monster cable gold 18 gbps and now it's connected with it so I dont think the problem is the cable

There is a lot of info in this forum thread about HiSense 65xt910 (I presume you have installed the most recent TV firmware - approx September 2016?) Other people are having problems with 4K Shield / Xbox etc.

Try changing the colorspace settings on Q10 Pro. Settings - More - Advanced - Colorspace. Set it to 4:2:0 and 8 bit to test if that's OK and then experiment with other colorspace modes and HDR. I don't know exactly what your TV panel is capable of so some experimentation will be necessary.

Thank you so much ! I set the colorspace to 4:2:0 8 bit and now the problem is gone ! There is no blurry screen when I reboot  :D :D
But now, if I have 10 bit video and HDR, I have to switch manually every time ? too bad ...
Will a new firmware TV solve the problem you think ?

This is not true concerning Xbox and Shield. There are no problems.
I have tested  Xbox One S, Himedia Q10Pro, and nVidia Shild on my Hisense 58K700 TV with the latest firmware (with HDR support) and there is a problem only with 10 bit modes in the 4k resolutions on Himedia.
But now, if I have 10 bit video and HDR, I have to switch manually every time ? too bad ...
You can change mode Q10Pro output to 10bit in the Game/PC mode on the TV but it will work only till the next reboot.
