No new SDK yet. This is based on same SDK as the closed beta.

installing es file explorer (which is crucial to many) causes external hard drives identification issues on both android 6 and 7. that's why many major android tv boxes companies are still sticking on lollipop updates.

Try X-pore is much better and work with android os and android tv.

Keep on mind on Android 7.0 mount point is change Ex: from /mnt/sda/sda1 to /mnt/media_rw/sda1

Installed it and have the following very quick observations:
- Media are labeled by the Android path now instead of C:, D: etc . When adding extra media in-flight labels will change also for the active ones. This is very confusing. Other brand media players support volume labels instead which in my view is the better implementation.
- Existing problems like DVD Interlacing introduced with FW 1.07 are not solved (still played as 25P and 30P)
- Setting the clock gave strange results, even managed to get different timezones on the menu and the VFD display. Finally it worked with manual setting the timezone first and next selecting auto for the timezone.
- Booting is far slower taking at least double time.
- Occasionally I get an error at boot "Process system isn't responding" options Closeapp/Wait

No fixes from the todo list only items on the changelist which were things broken with recent FW updates.

OS related improvements found thus far:
- Volume control on top as a slider
- SAMBA functionally working now with all applications  (despite Disk size and free space reported as -1).
- KODI 17 support (but still needing Wrapper)
Looks reasonable stable to me.

Maybe some small fixes apply to you (see change list) but you get a few (minor) additional problems for free too.
The main reason for doing all this work is probably the big pressure to support KODI 17! Would have fixed the many pending problems first myself, this  regarding priority.

well for me , it only took me 3 hrs to try it out and re-flashed the box with the lollipop firmware. as it has been mentioned before , it's not for everyday use and since i'm using the box on daily basis , i just had to reflash with 1.0.8 lollipop version.

Installation Instructions:
For safety reason please backup all your important information.
1. Rename HiMedia_GApps-7.0-20161111.zip to update.zip.
2. Copy update.zip to the root of a USB pen drive.
3. Insert the USB pen drive into any USB port of the Q10Pro.
4. Update from Menu (Settings/Upgrade/Local Upgrade)
5. The box will auto-reboot when finished.

Note:
- Test/Install only for HMD-2.0.0 2016-11-10.213904
- Some permissions are still missing, YouTube Google TV, removed because of crashing after GApps install.
