does anybody can confirm that autofmt switch works with the newest 2.0.3 test firmware ? I just can't get it to work. I had no problems with 2.0.1

No, also have the same problem. The wrapper does it correctly - but the internal player Kodi doesn't change the framerate.

I need to play 4k files on Kodi, I understand i need this patch for fixing the frame rate issue (I tried running 4k files as is and they seem to be playing but kodi crashes most of the time....)

I've got Android 7 installed and therefor i need step 2:

Step 2. ONLY NECESSARY IF RUNNING ANDROID 7 FIRMWARE
- IF RUNNING ANDROID 5.1 IGNORE THIS STEP.
- REQUIRES WINDOWS PC ON SAME NETWORK AS Q5/Q10 PRO.

I copy here my request post from another thread, for the sake of better awareness:

My only problem with this auto frame switch add-on, is exactly that it also switches frame rate for online streaming. It would be very useful for me to use it with DVD playback (the only thing that I would NOT play with Wrapper+HiPalyer), but I have read in another Thread that it's very annoying, since it also stays active while switching and surfing through IPTV channels in KODI. And since normally you switch channels more often while surfing the TV channels, I guess it just won't do any healthy to the TV like that.

- pcristi and - looun if it's possible, could you do any modification in the patch to exclude this behavior (like an untickable option) while using a streaming add-on, like Simple IPTV?! I guess i wouldn't be the only one with this request.

Another option would be a HiMedia Player auto fps patch "cutoff" version. I mean a ripped version of the patch, which only activates when playing 25->50 and 30->60 fps DVDs, and all the other frame switching would be left for the original HiMedia Player. As I have read that the patch seams to switch framerate in a some sort of irregular way, as perceptible on the TV while the process.  Is it possible to solve such a cutoff?!

It seems that auto framerate switcher does not work properly with 2.0.4 firmware on Q10 Pro. In mz case it switches to 23hz as it should, but after stopping playback it does not switch to 60hz (there is a notification about unsupported resolution) and it stays on 23hz. Only way to get back to 60hz is to restart a box or go in to settings in Q10 launcher and select 1080p 60hz. Is there a workaround in progress or I am doing something wrong? On 2.0.3 switcher worked fine.

Sorry, but I'm still waiting for an answer to my previous question/request (a simply yes or no, or possible/impossible would be enough), thy.

And by actual  question would be: does this patch work with the latest version of SMPC? And what does "preliminary support Kodi 17" mean? What functional deficiencies it has compared to KODI 16.1?!

I need your help.

Im on 2.04 original firmware, and noticed my IPTV streaming always buffering and loading.

Its not happened when on 2.01.

Do you know the issue that cause the problem?

I plan to install 2.04 cfw to see if the problem is gone on the cfw.

Will try to do this later today.

Witch client for IPTV streaming use?

Kodi simple iptv addon?  Mediacodec surface is disabled? Auto framerate switching - KODI is active?
Try dedicate IPTV app with MX Player (IPTV by Alexander Sofronov, GSE SMART IPTV, XMTV Player) with still buffering?
I don't think a CFW can help you.

Hi Pricsti,

Im using Perfect Player, STB emulator, Stalker emulator, all having same issue.

I have not tested it on Kodi, last time i am using Kodi with IPTV Extreme add on, and Stalker IPTV add on. Both is working on 2.01 together with Perfect Player is working also on 2.01 fw.

I will test with Kodi later tonight, and see how it goes.

If the same issue, then i will test to replace it with MX Player from wrapper.

I loved 2.04 due to able to play BD ISO file now.

Thats why i want to remained on the same fw if i can.
