Q5/Q10 Pro is the first player who read SACD!

Spdif RCA/Coax cable arrived today. And it played music through my DAC.

System Spdif settings: RAW

Using Himedia Music Player it played MP3, 24/96 Flac, 24/192 Flac. It can't play DXD (32/352.8 Flac) and DSD64 (.dsf).

However through UAPP (USB Audio Player Pro) it played everything the app could support. But it used the ASL (Android Sound Layer) to do this. Thus converted everything to 16/48 regardless of bit depth or rate.

Native SACD support is something HiMedia have said they'll add.

It is just software.

I'd like to use Q10 pro as a player of FLAC, DSD and other music formats files for further recording on MiniDisc or TapeDeck. The question is: how is the sound quality of analog outputs (RCA white/red) of Q10 pro? Is it OK or I have to use external DAC for descent quality? Thanks!

Hope this helps.

1. Turn Off your Receiver/DAC.
2. Install HibyMusic to your Q10 Pro from Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hiby.music&hl=en
3. Plug a USB 2.0 printer cable from your Q10 Pro (use side the USB(A) sockets of your Q10 Pro) to the USB(B) socket at the back of your Receiver/DAC.
4. Turn On DAC
5.  When accessing Hiby a popup will open. Click OK when HibyMusic says wants to initialize your DAC.
6.  Go to SETTINGS->ADVANCE and configure you're DAC (PCM/DoP/Native) by swiping your cursor from left to right OR use the settings button from the remote.
7. Use Folder tab to choose your music.

I own an integrated stereo amplifier Yamaha A S501 wich has an internal DAC but no USB port.
What do you mean:through optical/coaxial/RCA will be ok?
I only need FLAC 192/24 bit stereo files to hear...nothing more
