New features request
« on: June 24, 2016, 12:50:15 PM »
Hi futeko.

I think we need a new features topic. I start here ;-)

When I watch a movie Whit kodi, I have the choice to play with DVD player or the wrapper.
But when I want listen music, then it's always the kodi player. That's why I cannot read 192khz misic whit Kodi. Could it possible to use the wrapper to listen music?

Thanks

The Himedia wrapper does nothing with the default audio/subtitle track which is set in MKV files !
The wrapper plays alwas track 1 and subtitle 1

Update wrapper so that he reads de defaults in an MKV file !

I would like to see a smaller pointer icon , its huge . "little problem I know but it really looks out of place"

Also and this might be because I am a newbie with the Q10 but where is the status and notification bar?
I use this to check signal and most importantly to ensure my VPN is running while I am in Kodi etc.
Am I missing a setting to turn these on because I cant believe they are not present?  :o

Great box though, I'm properly impressed with it.  8)

Is possible to change via adb shell on framework-res.apk\res\drawable-hdpi-v4\pointer_arrow.png
I try to use small size, but make hard to see on table/phone using HiControl or TV until 40".

Thanks for the answer Futeko.

When i use de Hicontrol app, the navigation bar appears. But it's the only way to see it.
is there a way to use the multitask whit the remote control? If no, could you ask HImedia to add the feature?

Thanks

The navigation bar is something that I think most users would prefer never appears. It's been discussed with other products on this forum before. The annoyance of it popping up outweighs it's usefulness.

A better solution would be if a button on the remote brought up the task manager (as if pressing the square nav bar button). I will pass it onto HiMedia.

I don't know why no one has mentioned this yet:
When changing the volume (using wrapper), the symbol is gigantic and in the middle of the screen.
It would be much better if it was in the top left/right corner and much smaller.

To quote Christian Bale: "It's distracting"

Feature request:
Native support for gamepads.
See here http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=872.msg6077#msg6077

I can connect my gamepads at home to my old Samsung Galaxy S2, but not with the Q10 pro.
Using the Q10 pro as a system for emulation of old games was one of the reasons i bought it.

Feature request:

Q 10 Pro with internal HDD.
Have a pop up/warning appear when connecting a USB cable to the back of Q10 Pro, since it will override access to the HDD.

If you don't know that, you might think that
a) your HDD does not work with Q10 Pro
b) SATA or HDD is defect
