Miracast?
« on: March 21, 2015, 07:34:22 AM »
Have not managed to figure out how to get this working so I can mirror my tablet onto my tv via the PCG03.
Can anyone enlighten me please?

Thanks

I think you need a third party app to get Windows 8.1 to act as a Miracast receiver (as opposed to sender which works out of the box). I've not tested it but 'Airserver' in the Windows Store claims to do what you require. It's not free though.

AirServer does indeed work but it would appear that I cannot be connected to my router for internet AND be connected for screen mirroring simultaneously. Unless I am doing something wrong?

Cheers

That sounds right. Miracast will occupy the wifi network. You can still use home internet but only through a wired connection.
