For those of you with a black screen or now unable to play anything via the wrapper, how did you install the new firmware?
If it was via the menu, please reinstall using the upgrade button method as detailed in the opening post of this thread.
Hi futeko,
what did you mean with this, the opening post describe the pinhole restore method. Means total loosing all data. In general, that could not be the right way to do an upgrade. It is the upgrade method of the beginning of Android and not state of the art.
I use the upgrade selection on the system menu (as described some posts before). It works without any problems. I use the same way to went back to the delivery (1st) FW version, because this "HIMEDIA" facility does play videos at least at this version.
And to let off steam, do the programer know what they do?
If I see, that they build twice menu structures for video setups under the android system menu. What is the meaning of the same video setups at different places. Do override one setup the other, or is one video setup for 4K films, the other not?
You see, I`m not willing to poke in the mist. It would be helpful to hear some exact words concerning the setups (special the SAME video setups items like resolution in different menus).
To be honest, these guys have to earn the right to use name like HIMEDIA first, at the moment it`s rather LOWMEDIA.
