for many retailers on the web I resolve that there should be a 802.11 AC Adapter optional.
What would it be and where can I get that?

What that listing means is that there may be an H8+ model with AC wi-fi.

I don't expect it to be released outside China if it does get released at all.

I had written also Himedia and their response is consistent with its.

We will release a new model H8 PLUS with 802.11 AC built-in.

Hello,

I have the H8 Plus ordered me directly Himedia China. Unfortunately there is still no central European vendor. But hopefully soon.
Main changes are: WLAN 802.11 AC, Bluetooth and the two partitions were now out together.

I stand corrected.

We have no plans to stock it.

Adding WiFI 802.11ac and Dual Band in fact is a very nice thing to have. So is Bluetooth for some.
I don't see why the same identical firmware can't  support both H8 and H8+ so on that front adding it would be easy. I presume this will be done by Himedia. Have seen exactly this with products from other brands with no problems (yes even called a Plus version too). 

OK it is another item to stock, but if the price difference is small enough maybe the plus sells even better and you may drop the original one instead.  I will always recommend to buy the plus version if you plan to use WiFi for streaming.
