Interesting - it does suggest a potential issue with your Q10 perhaps. Only way to know for sure is to try your headset with another Q10 unfortunately.

So, I've been able to pair my Headset with the Q10 but I had to get very very closed to the player (in fact my Headset was squarely placed on the reader).

But as soon as I sit on my sofa (2 meters), the link is lost... Is there a range problem with the Bluetooth of the Q10 ?  :o

I've tested my Bluetooth connectivity with my Headset after FW upgrade, the problem is still there . I got to stay very closed to the player to be able to pair but as soon as I walk away (about 2 meters) the connection is lost... No improvement

@FUTEKO: I recently bought another HEADSET and I'm facing the same issue, connectivity is lost as soon as i'm 1 meter far from the player while it works perfectly with my iPad or Android phone with Spotify anywhere in my house to about 10m distance.

I think there is a real problem with bluetooh connectivity and range.

I made an email to myHDplayer-de where I bought the player (amazon.fr) but they don't answer me. The player is still under warranty so I'd like to get a switch. Do I have to wait from the seller or can Futeko help me in this way?

Thx

I don't think there is a general problem with Bluetooth range.

We can't help with warranty if you bought the item from another seller. If you bought it via Amazon then raise it as an claim with them and they will force the issue with your seller.

Is it possible to pair two headsets at the same time?

I lent my headset tonight to a friend who owns a and it works perfectly in bluetooth at over 7m without problem. I asked for a exchange to the seller

Hello,

had the feedback of myHDplayer-de where I returned my Q10 last week:

"Hello,

we just checked you player with our Bluetooth Components.

We can not figure out an error.

It is working with a couple of meters distance.

Kind Regards"

So my player has no bluetooth problem but can't work with my Headphones. So I have ordered a Zidoo X9s and now my Q10 is for sale, if somebody in France is interested.

I think you'll be disappointed by the X9S.

I have 4 work colleagues who bought a Zidoo a few weeks ago and they are totally convinced at the moment. I will have to make up my own mind...

My opinion is that Realtek 1295 boxes have more fundamental underlying firmware problems than HiSilicon V200. But I guess it depends what you use the box for. I have a Zidoo X9S and and Eweat R9.

OK, it's an old thread but I have a similar problem and from what I can see I have the latest board (no LEDs on the Ethernet port).

Is the Bluetooth connectivity (range) dependent upon the antenna or is that for wifi only?

For what it is worth, I am running without the antenna and wifi is tolerable (hate wifi). However, Bluetooth is woeful. More than 1 - 1.5m away and the connection drops.

Antenna reconnected and Bluetooth range is now acceptable.
