Large Font Size too small on my OLD Sony 29" television. There is solution ?

Hi, using my new H8 TvBox i have difficuilty to navigate through my PlayList of Video files collection
because i have an OLD Sony CRT 29" television and also if i have setted "Confluece Large BIG font" is always
too small to read list at 5 metres distance from Tv.

Searching on WEB for solutions i have readed post that wrote:
   - Edit "font.xml" stored into   /usr/share/kodi/addons/skin.confluence/720p/Font.xml
   - Go to line 16.
   - There you will find the "font13" string in the "Name" sub-section.
   - Increase the value in the "Size" sub-section below.
   - The default value is 20, Change it from 20 to 50
   - It must be set to "Skin Confluence default"
   - Make sure you haven't selected the "Large" font option in Kodi 's preferences.

but i don't find this path into my TvBox
Other post on WEB wrote an other path:

                  /private/var/stash/Applications/XBMC.frappliance/XBMCData/XBMCHome/addons/skin.confluence/720p/font.xml

....but also this path don't exists into my H8 box.
How i may increase to size 50 the font used of SKIN "Confluence" ??
or do you know if there are some other Skins to install, (from big list of skins available on WEB),
that permit user to set very high size font (45...55 size) ??

The resolution of your TV is too small, it is really almost impossible to make it compatible, CRT resolution is something like 240 lines... It is so outdated that the developers even do not consider this option, that is why you can't see properly. You should consider to buy another TV with better resolution in order to use an android box. The viewing experience shall be terrible on a CRT TV

Thanks for reply, but, for now,  i have not plan to buy another Tv.
I have little quantity of 1920x1080  or   1280x720   video files in my collection.
I have buyed Android Box to see my collection of ISO-DVD that have a definition 720x576 pixels
and this PAL-TV satisfy this purpose.
In addiction i use it to listen my mp3 collection.

Studying a solution to increase font, i have found a partial solution that has increased, to user choice size,
fonts of all H8 Android Box, except KODI.
I have choosed  240% of original size, but i can increase to 300% .. 400%.... 500% etc..
Apps is named "Bigfont Size 2.58.apk".

Unfortunately KODI file list is not changed by application and for this reason i'm looking for
solution for the fonts inside KODI and i post to this forum because i have not solved, for now,
to ask community if other people have some council, idea to do this for KODI or an other
KODI Skin Add-On that increase font to 40-50 or to 200..250% of original size.
On web other users spokes for this problem of KODI and posts solution for their Andoird hardware but for my
H8 the path described doesn't exists.

If there are no solution for KODI i abandon it, and i will download and test other video player app that has
 "DTS PassThrough option" to connect optical Output to Home Theater as KODI.

I have searched into all folders of my TvBox but "skin.confluence/720p/Font.xml" doesn't exists.
Would be that "!font.xml" is not visible because my TvBox in not rooted and without root permission i don't see this file
because it is hide?

I'm crazying because reading on web people have solved changing this file, while me, i have difficult also to find it in my TvBox   
and i'm blocked

I don't think it's because of no root.

It appears that the font.xml file (and other skin setting files - for confluence at least) doesn't exist in Android Kodi. I have also searched extensively and nobody seems to know where these settings have disappeared to..

Looking for solution on WEB, i found more people that spoke for this problem and some of them found a partial solution
changing Skin.
Skins suggested that have very BIG fonts inside are: "BIG ALASKA SKIN"  and  "CIRRUS SKIN"
I have with my home personal computer immediately downloaded ZIP files of these 2 skins from different locations
in more versions of skins  (5-6 files downloaded)

- skin.big.alaska.2011.01.12.Final  (90,6 MB Zip files)
- skin.big.alaska.2011.01.12.Final  (52,6 MB  7z compressed files)
- skin.Big-cirrus.Extended-  (65,4 MB)
- big-cirrus-extended-master   (44,5 MB)
- ......

Downloaded and copied them on USB-Key i have tried to install skin Add-On from ZiP-files
through KODI settings menu but are always showed the message  "Dependency not satisfied" and nothing is installed !!   :-(


I'm wronging install method ?
All of them are not compatible with Android Lollipop of my H8 ?
All of them are not compatible with this version of KODI?


I have proved to downloaded other skins as:
-   skin.aeon.nox.5-5.8.6
-   skin.aeon.nox.5-5.6.0
-   skin.nebula-2.10.0
-   skin.moddedconfluence.4-1.1.1

...but only Skin that can be installed with success is     "skin.moddedconfluence.4-1.1.1"         16,0 MByte
and unfortunately this skin have not BIG fonts inside.


Someone have some suggestions or can test them on its H8 Box in order
to verify if the list of Video Files have BIG fonts as people wrote on web ??

I have found a partial solution for KODI font size.
The only skin that i have downloaded and i can install was
"ConfluenceMOD Vol.4 ver. 1.1.1"
I have opened this zip skin file using 7-zip .
In folder 720p i found "font.xml" and i have extract it to  my hard

disk.
Editing "font.xml" with NotePad+ i have changed size under section
"font13" and i have wrote size 45.
Then i have replaced original "Font.xml" with this file modified
inthe zip file and Installing Skin with font modified now
Kodi list file is bigger.

To have a definitive solution i would make same procedure with
original "Confluence 2.7.4 Jazz_X team Kodi" but i don't find any

location where download it to my Personal computer.

Someone can give me, please, if you know,  direct link where download
original Himedia H8 Kodi skin "Confluence 2.7.4 Jazz_X team Kodi"  ?

Now, that i understood how do, please, i need only this skin to definitively solve problem
post me link where i can download it

All done!!     Problem definitively solved:  Thanks to all members.

I have extracted original version of "Skin.Confluence" from Himedia H8 firmware HMD-1.0.9 (January-12-2016) used to upgrade my TvBox.
Then i have edited skin to access file:  "font.xml" and i have changed size font in the section "font13" of these file.
Saved into "Skin.Confluence_Font_MOD" file and install it using "install from Zip file"
Now size of list file is very BIG!
