Audio tracks selectable in hardware decoding?

Does Q10 Pro currently support selection of available audio tracks (e.g. in a movie) in hardware decoding mode? In my case, I have to use MX Player because my VOD service only works with MX Player. I'm using MX Player in hardware decoding mode due to the smooth video playback, but audio track selection does not work though different audio tracks are available. Specifically, available audio tracks are displayed and can be selected, but the audio just does not switch.

I wonder if this is an issue of Q10 Pro firmware or MX Player. If Q10 Pro, will the next firmware be updated to support this?

This happens to MX Player in other Android boxes as well (e.g. Mini X...). It is alluded that when MX Player uses HW decoder, it does use the stock media framework of the Android box. So the issue may pertain to Q10 Pro's stock media framework.

IDK. Could someone from Futeko or Himedia address this?

Check on MX Player if HW audio track is selectable, If still not work check SW audio decoder inside of HW decoder.

Only HimediaVideoplayer  take  100% advantage of Q10 pro soc

Why do you need use MX Player ?

Q10 pro it's only box where hardware software and Soc have made from same company.

HimediaVideoplayer not work proper with many types of m3u8 playlist and VOD server and HiMedia not intend to do this via HimediaVideoplayer.
MX Player is one of best streaming player for Android.

HW audio track selectable: yes (always ticked).

The problem with SW decoder is that MX Player can't pass through HD audio formats (Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD) with SW decoding. Using HW decoder, it can, but faces the issue of audio track not selectable like I said.

The reason why I use MX Player is because my VOD service supports playback by only MX Player.

the big advantage of new Q10 pro is  support  OpenMAX (Open Media Acceleration)  ,that  is a Android stand API .

I suppose MX player not support standard API , so himedia not have need more to update it's MX player use wrong library, but maybe i am in wrong.

Can you use kodi(Dvdplayer) ?

It was not due to my file as I was streaming movies from VOD provider. I tried many VOD movies which have different audio tracks but none of them worked.

I guess there's nothing we can do. Some have this problem while others don't. It also happens to MX Player in other brand Android box. Probably Himedia or Futeko can help with this.

I have as well reported the issue to MX Player (xda-forum).
