Q5/Q10 Pro Official Firmware

Another problem: if i watch some videos on youtube and i go back in media center to watch a movie, the 24Hz function doesn't work anymore. I got frames. The 24Hz function is on but not working. Works again if i make a factory reset. I'm disapointed of Q10 Pro. So much problems.

Have you tried the "paintbrush" app?
I think that soft-resets the Q10 without having to restart or reset.

Newbie question: Is it ok to upgrade from 1.01 directly to 1.07? Or do I have to upgrade incrementally?

I have NO sound on an .mkv file with Dolby Atmos 7.1 played with Media Center in Q10 Pro.

I saw on a Russian forum that will be a  new fw after October 25 and  for android 5.1.1 and not for nougat.
And they have not done anything for the future fw.
They sold so many illusions....I am not used to such  incorrect marketing.

We are awaiting an accurate update from HiMedia about future firmware.

The last update we got from them said next firmware Android 7 and release before end October.

I think the post you refer to on 4pda was itself an interpretation of a post on a Vietnamese forum. It's all rumours, I recommend ignoring unverified forum posts.

Update from HiMedia as of today.

Next firmware will be an update to Android 5.1.1 firmware, and will be next week (week starting 17-OCT).

Android 7 firmware will follow. The reason for delayed Android 7 firmware is that they want it to be stable. Which does seem the correct way to approach things.
