Is there a way to keep the USB 3.0 cable plugged in to copy data from a pc to the internal HDD AND use the internal HDD to watch stuff? All I can see is that the HDD cant be seen by the Q10 if the cable is plugged in. Once I've unplugged it I can use the internal HDD but cant copy data via USB 3.0 anymore.

Edit: Ok thats only when the pc is running. Once its turned off the cable can stay in.

Edit 2: Can the Q10 Pro play video files with x1/2 speed, slowmo?

I do not know why but I felt that there must be something "allergic" with Android 7.  :(
After a long time finally I decided to upgrade from firmware 1.1 (Android 5.1) to 2.0.6 (Andrid 7), I detected 2 problems.
I upgraded using the back button procedure, and I used the ANDROID 5.1 TO ANDROID 7 v2.0.4 migration firmware and then I updated to version 2.0.6

1- Using the mediacenter I no longer have access to the files, which I used to log in regularly, with the message "NEtwork error, please check network state" or "new server error"

2- In Kodi the Wrapper does not work, only the videoplayer works regularly.

Is it possible to solve or do I have to downgrade?
I do not understand where the hell I'm wrong.

Thank you

Unfortunately, you are not alone with this issue.  I have posted before with the same issue...it has occurred ever since upgrading from 1.X.X to 2.0.X.  I'm still waiting for a solution but one workaround is to download a file manager like ES File Explorer and, for whatever reason, you can access network/shared files that way.  Hope this helps...and hope that moderator(s) can continue to press HiMedia to resolve.

So you also confirm that there is still no solution to the problem, I have seen some discussions about it

but without finding a definitive solution, instead others have not encountered this problem, but then what is the real cause of all this?

Will there be a proper hd background with a new firmware? Pixellated grey is hard on the eyes.

Well, magnifico, he can always return it. There was no wild guessing there. His issue is quite unusual and very uncommon. Some have had issues because of a bad power supply (again, very few of them - I may be mistaken).

Yes, it's confirmed. The official 2.06 firmware is messing up the network sharing, shared folders, NAS, etc. Once you do a local upgrade to custom 2.06, everything back to normal.

How do you mean?

Hi HerelsTom, I refer to the problem faced by user DMD which I also encountered. Initially I was using CFW2.06 and all the networked shared folders were working fine. After I changed to OFW2.06, all the problems faced by DMD appeared exactly. Then I saw some user's comment recommend changing to CFW2.06 would solve the issue.  I tried the same and voila! it works. Hope you understand.

I wonder if the custom firmware can solve the problem, nobody tried?

Thank you

I dropped back to 2.04 to fix similar problems with Samba sharing. It's no big deal as for me 2.04 works fine, however a friend has the Q10 with 2.06 OFW running with Samba and NAS. I think his workaround was to specify the source IP address of his NAS box from Kodi rather than try to let it find the workgroup. This presumably necessitated using fixed IP addressing.

Are you sure you can solve this problem with the Custom Firmware?
Eventually I ask if it does not work if it is possible to downgrade.

Thank you

Yes but you should download the latest CFW2.06 version dated 29.12.2017 (with kodi 17.6). Btw, if it's working fine (until now), why should I bother to downgrade it.

If you confirm this, I'm not in doubt, but it's just a matter of security if for any reason I'm forced to downgrade.

A greeting
