Apologies in advance if this is the wrong place to ask. My q10 pro(a400 from kdLinks) running 2.0.4 firmware (after months of working fine with no updates or being messed with)  WIPED ITSELF in the middle of watching a YOUTUBE video!  All my kodi settings were gone and everything. My files are still intact thank goodness. Anyone have any idea why this would happen all of a sudden?!

Will the "jump" function forward and backward (5-15 seconds jumps) be added soon or will that never happen?

Yea, I have noticed that the FF and RW function operates very differently as I have used to it on fw 1.0.9. It was much more convenient and predictable with equal "jump periods" and just worked fine. On 2.0.6 it's very random and hard to control where the skips will end up, isn't handy or usable at all. I would request just to bring back as it was on fw 1.0.9, and I'm still confused why they changed it at all.

Just ordered a Q10 Pro I hope I dont regret it. Please fix the skip problem :)

Gotta have an HDR10 machine before any damn player supports Dolby Vision which might never happen anyway....

My player worked for 1 year without any problems.
After the Q5 Pro (Firmware 2.06) ran cleanly for weeks, it was rebooted for no apparent reason and started in the factory state.
Previously I only updated Kodi (17.6) and Youtube for Android TV (2.02.08) to the latest version.
Does anyone have an idea, don't want to lose all my data again?
Cheers.

RMA = Return to manufacturer, actually. A data wipe does not quite qualify for that. I've read posts from other owners here, something went wrong, an app did something or the user did something. I have never had such issues with any firmware.

Yeah - it only seemed to "wipe" when I started a YouTube Video. So I'm staying away from it for now. I'll just wait to get the new model. Anyone know when it comes out?

I do not know why but I felt that there must be something "allergic" with Android 7.  :(
After a long time finally I decided to upgrade from firmware 1.1 (Android 5.1) to 2.0.6 (Andrid 7), I detected 2 problems.
I upgraded using the back button procedure, and I used the ANDROID 5.1 TO ANDROID 7 v2.0.4 migration firmware and then I updated to version 2.0.6

1- Using the mediacenter I no longer have access to the files, which I used to log in regularly, with the message "NEtwork error, please check network state" or "new server error"

2- In Kodi the Wrapper does not work, only the videoplayer works regularly.

Is it possible to solve or do I have to downgrade?
I do not understand where the hell I'm wrong.

Thank you
