Hi.

how can i downgrade 2.0.4 official to 2.0.3 official on Q5 Pro ?

Hello just install The 2.03 firmware and follow the procedure you have in this :

http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=1865.0

1. Extract update.zip (using an unzip program like 7zip, winzip etc) from Q10 PRO FIRMWARE. ANDROID 7 TO ANDROID 7. FUTEKO. HMD-2.0.3 2017-04-12.095905. Q10 PRO MUST ALREADY BE RUNNING ANDROID 7 TO INSTALL THIS FIRMWARE.zip to the root of a FAT32 formatted USB pen drive. (the USB pen drive should contain a single file called 'update.zip').
2. Insert the USB pen drive into any USB port of Q10 Pro.
3. With Q10 Pro turned off, use a paper clip or pen to press and hold the the pinhole UPGRADE button on the back of Q10 Pro (next to the power port).
4. While keeping the UPGRADE button pressed, turn on the Q10 Pro.
5. Q10 Pro will show the Android 7 coloured circle upgrade logo.
6. When you see the coloured circle upgrade logo you can release the restore button.
7. A progress bar will indicate update progress. Do not turn box off or use the box/remote during update!
8. When update is complete the box will automatically reboot.
9. First boot will take 3-5 minutes. The box will reboot into new Android 7 firmware. Allow boot to complete.

congratulation to himedia staff.
firmware android 5.1 is stopped to version 1.1.0 from march.!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'm very angry .
you want to obliged people to pass to android 7 ????? but android 7  makes  sucker and have more problems.

For me, the last Android 5.1 version that worked  well was 1.09.  1.1.0 disabled a USB port.  I thought the same thing as you about Android 7 versions until  most recent 2.0.4.  While it still has some bugs (I have to use an external file explorer because Himedia Media Center won't connect to my  network drive) it is working pretty good for me.
for me android 5.1 and version 1.1.0 remain the best and i have not problem with usb port. but if the staff don't update the firmware anymore, i obliged to pass to android 7 without my will.

For me Android 7 and firmware 2.0.3 work fine, for now.
I hope HiMedia will come soon with a bug free firmware 2.0.5
Do you know anything Futeko?

Hello FUTEKO!

With the new 2.04 update it is unfortunately no longer possible to output natively High Resolution Flac audio, it takes downsampling from 96 kHz to 48 kHz instead.
Regardless of which program (Himedia Player, BubbleUPNP, Kodi or Radsone ...).
With the 2.03 firmware I could output the HD Flac files without problems natively.
FUTEKO, is an update planned in the near future?
I hope very much that on this problem is worked, this is a very big bug.

Thanks in advance for an answer.

audio dts hd master, dts-x, dolby atmos, audio passtrought ecc.c....

Those formats all pass correctly in 2.0.4.

Q10 Pro "downgrades" all FLAC 24 bit to 16 bit so.... it's not the best way to listen to HQ music.

Good morning
I have seen on the official website: http://www.himediatech.com/support.htm
the Q10 Pro firmware version (Android L to Android N) HMD-2.0.4 2017-07-05.174159
If I have installed version 1.1 (Android 5.1) do not need to install the migration file from 5 to 7, is this correct?

Thank you

It would appear so. We've not tested them yet.

When we've done some testing we'll update our firmware threads and downloads.
