I can confirm there is a new firmware . We have also received it for testing.

The official release will be next week, sorry for the date slipping again.

As 'RiCo97' posted on the Russian forum, it fixes the HDR bug. It's also rock solid stable, which is a relief after 2.0.3.

The posted changelog is correct.

Roll on next week..

Yes, it is an Android 7 firmware.

All Q5/Q10 Pro firmwares will now be Android 7.

You mentioned that it has tested rock solid stable. How long you have tested and how you test it? Don't make easy comment. Any software development will have bugs whatever it is big or small. Just the team take care of them. Progress are always better than nothing happens. We hope to have more info about the works Himedia R & D team working on. Keep close communication between Futeko and Himedia is important to keep your customers happy. Of course the open mind of Himedia is more important.

One suggestion on the future update if possible is the support of Visionplus HDR1000 playback. I don't know if this is possible because it may be the limitation of chipset. But the MplayerX at my MacBook Pro play it with TrueHD Atmos audio. But my Q10 Pro can not. Dolby Vision support may be another vision.

All the best and hope the coming firmware update will make most people happy.

Thanks.

I am at the mercy of HiMedia. I repeat what they tell me.

Since we have a beta of 2.0.4 which is (so far) pretty good, I am very confident the public release will be next week.

Futeko is only the word bearer/spokeperson here, he only tells us what HiMedia is telling him. I want a stable firmware with some fixed bugs. I am still on 2.0.1 because of that. I do not want to go through the pain of selling my Q10 and buying another TV Box, only to discover that there are no perfect TV boxes. I can wait.
