Q10 4k3d Europe vs Chinese Difference
« on: April 13, 2016, 07:58:23 AM »

I am planning to update the firmware of my Q10 to 3.03en december 2015. I read that flashing wrong firmware can brick your box. I dont have any more contact to the supplier and I cannot distinguish if this is europe or chinese manufactured. The packaging of my box is similar to the picture above. And language is english. I notice also en in firmware version. Is there any difference to the packaging of chinese and europe releases? Hope you can help. Thanks

That packaging is for the European/international version.

What is the firmware version # of your existing firmware?

Thanks futeko for your timely assistance. Really appreciate it.
The only problem that hesitate me from upgrading is that the experience of my friend that the latest version boot up first the menu or home screen before it will run the default app for example kodi.

Right now on 3.01 im booting up with 35 secs for the record with kodi already running without seeing the home screen. Its like booting up with kodi only.

My friend booting up with 3.03 installed for 1min and he is experiencing the boot up delay to home screen before it will lunch the kodi. Is this normal in 3.03? If yes I doubt I will stick with my current firmware.
