+1 here....very distrbing..."Click OK when play back ended#

This is a Kodi problem, it happens with Kodi on all platforms when using external player.

I agree that it is annoying and it could be improved. Kodi devs occasionally do read this forum, otherwise please post about it on the kodi official forum for best chance of getting it improved.

I've read offical kodi forum and it seems the "reminder message" is indeed a feature and no option at current moment to remove it. >_<

Good news.

I transfered to Kodi 16 RC3 and the message "Click OK when play back ended'' disappears.

However, the kodi watched flag does not work anymore with the Kodi 16 and himediawrapper.

Yes, that is correct.

Wrapper only works with files from local storage or local LAN.

After few tests with non CEC HDMI adaptor or not about the Audio HD with Kodi and new Custom Firmware CS (pcristi) here is the result :

Panasonic Viera Neo Plasma VT50
Yamaha bar sound receiver YSP-2200 (ALL HD Audio Works fine with Q10 4K)
Q10 4K Pro

HDMI: RAW
SPDIF: Close
HBR Output: RAW 7.1

Kodi with Capability 8 chanels output with Passthrough.

We have:

DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1/7.1 only in DTS-Core 5.1       Have no problem with the Q10 4K
True-HD 5.1/7.1  NOTHING        Have no problem with the Q10 4K
Dolby AC3 5.1 OK
Atmos NOTHING      Have no problem with the Q10 4K

So i think it will be better with the Custom firmware and wish that this kind of problem will be OK for all of more than people who have same problem with their receiver.

You've posted in the wrong forum.

7.1 audio is not supported for the SPDIF standard so you'll not get 7.1 from SPDIF with any device.

For DTS-HD MA you'll get 5.1 from SPDIF as it has a core. For True-HD you'll get 2 channel PCM unless the video has a seperate AC3 audio track.
