Dune Pro One 8K Plus - Slave USB 3.0
« on: January 11, 2025, 06:25:46 PM »
Greetings,
I have updated from my Dune Pro Vision 4K Solo to my Dune Pro One 8K Plus. I would like to take the 6TB Seagate Sata drive and attach it to my Dune Pro One 8K Plus USB 3.0 connection.
do i need a enclosure for my Seagate Sata HD or is there some cable assembly I can use? Do I need to power the Seaget or will the Slave USB provide power?

If you're wanting to connect a 3.5" SATA HDD to Pro One 8K Plus then you'll need to insert it into a USB enclosure. Pro One 8K can only accept 2.5" HDDs internally.

Something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/UGREEN-Enclosure-Adapter-Tool-free-Lay-Flat/dp/B076X4WWZY/
