Issue with picture slideshows

Hello,
I am using Himedia Q10 Pro and having an issue with picture slideshows. When using the MediaPlayer-app in picture mode none of my settings are saved and the slideshow does not stop after all pictures in the folder are shown but starts again from the first picture.merge fruit There seems to be no option to change that behavior.

When using Kodi, I can at least save the display time, but I cannot choose a blend style. And like in the mediaplayer app, I didn't find a option to stop the slideshow from playing continuously.

As I prefer the mediaplayer app over Kodi for a simple slideshow, i would be very grateful for any hints/ideas...
