no subtitles from OpenSubtitles
« on: January 04, 2024, 01:09:32 PM »
instead of subtitles it is displayed "Become OpenSubtitles.org VIP member to get subtitles -> osdb.link/vip"
what is the problem and how to fix it?
Will only VIPs have subtitles now?

Yes, you need to become a VIP. But then the issue will be how to register this in the Dune. maybe a new firmware?

You should definitely become a VIP. Then the question of how to record this in the Dune will arise. perhaps updated software?

the issue does exists as the opensubtitles have changed the API access and the old one required the new API key, while the new firmware (thanks, Dune HD) mitigates it.
Yet, there was a period when the issue was unresolved, hence calling reporting it (What could help trigger the attention of manufacturer) a nonsense - is somehow abusive absurd.

What's the point of answering 1 1/2 month later for a solved issue ??
