HDMI IN function for a Dune HD Pro Vision 4K Solo

Has anyone used or tried to use the 'HDMI IN' provision?  I do not see any application that governs it anywhere in the device other than the Record button on the remote which doesn't seem to do anything.

Android Applications - HDMI Input

You can record any non HDCP source up to 1080p60 or display the input PIP.
