Does the time remaining function work for BDMV folders as well as MKV?

Yes and also for Music but not with BD Full Menu yet for obvious reasons. That player can't be changed that easily as it is driven by Java menus.

it is possible to configure time remaining on the display :(

Yes, you can.

The two attached files either enable or disable this feature.

They can be run from a USB drive.

Hello again,
Is it mandatory to always activate these files from usb or can they be saved in a directory in the Dune?

The enable file only needs running once as well. You don't need to run it each time you turn on the device!

Well Zidoo have apparently achieved this so I live in hope Dune can too.

Hi guys , I can confirm that running the file for enabling the remaining time on main display works on a Dune Pro Vision Solo with the latest r17 alpha release. I avoided the R18 as there are some reports for random hangs on this firmware.

Can someone tell me that with Dune Max Vision 4k I can see "Remaining Time" on the front display?
Maybe I'll buy a Max Vision, but I'm not sure yet.

I got this email last year for Vision Solo
Received on June 26th, 2021, with approval for the upcoming Max version. It's been six months. It's annoying.

That means a promise from Dune with something later, lasts at least 1 year?
Annoying extremely annoying.

"Hello ........,

Here is a release candidate for the new public beta FW, we maybe will publish it soon, you can check it:
http://files.dune-hd.com/tmp/dune_firmware_tv175v_210625_1453_r17.dff

It is a small update (without New GUI).
It includes mostly further improvements/fixes for various media playback issues. Change Log will be available later.

It also includes a preliminary implementation of "Show Remaining Time" feature, run the following DSF files to enable/disable it:
http://files.dune-hd.com/tmp/dune_service_show_remaining_time_enable.dsf
http://files.dune-hd.com/tmp/dune_service_show_remaining_time_disable.dsf
Limitations: currently only for Pro Vision 4K Solo and Real Vision 4K models (models which have simple front display), will not affect Blu-ray menu mode (will affect only file playback and Blu-ray Lite mode).
A more complete solution (with support for all other models including models with OLED display and support for Blu-ray menu mode) will become available a bit later."

I would love to have the remaining time too! The display is useless without it! I read there is a way but not sure!
