Help with choosing a HDD for Z1000 Pro

So I just pulled the trigger on a new Z1000 Pro and need to buy a HDD

Now I know the Western Digital Red is a very good choice but a 16 TB is a good £500

I have seen  16 TB Seagate Exos Enterprise for under £300 but is it any good.

Do any of you guys use or have used this model?

Now I understand that the WD is likely much better but is it £200 better ?

I have an 8Tb Western Digital HDD in my Zidoo 1000 Pro which is excellent but, as you say, expensive! In retrospect I think it's a bit over-the-top as it's meant to fit into an external NAS unit. I could have bought cheaper.
My desktop computer has a mixture of both Western Digital and Seagate drives and I have had no problems with either. Both companies have good reputations.
In the end "you pays your money and you takes your choice".

If you want a good drive that is still cheap just buy a USB External drive and extract the HDD from it.
After reformatting via SATA using a PC it will always work. Do this for many years.

It may be a bit noisier and will be slower but speed is not a criteria for a media player HDD (they are all still faster than the gigabit LAN).

Most likely a WD160EDFZ or something similar. Got WD Elements and WD My Book external drives or Seagate Backup Plus. Seagate is nice as they have an USB3 Hub included allowing them to be cascaded.
But moved back to using a Docking Station and extracting the HDD's as a side-effect.

My 12 TB WD Elements drives (2020) extracted were WD120EDAZ models and before 10 TB WD Elements (2019) were WD100EZAZ models. Waiting for this years offer. HDD's in fact just got more expensive this year. 

As strange as it may sound an External HDD including a housing, PSU and USB3 cable of the same size as an Internal HDD is far cheaper. Different vertical markets though as Internals are used by system builders and externals by the home customer.

For use with media players the quality is good enough. Putting those into a NAS running 7x24h is probably not such a good idea.
