Real vision 4k vs egreat a5

Hello everyone..
I have been using egreat a5 for last two years with denon 6500h n 5.1.2 atmos set-up n lg c8..i am very happy with a5,it never failed to play any file(had a hdr files black bar issue which was solved by update)..
My usage is 100% movies by hdd,no streaming is ever used..

now if i want to buy the real vision 4k will i get any benifit on pq??btw i love the pw 2 very much..
And about ultra vision 4k,they have ess dac,will i get better sound for movies or is it just for stereo??

Pls hlep me to decide..

Have an Egreat A10 with the FW upgraded to the latest Android 7.

Egreats are still good players despite the lack of recent FW updates. The Android 7 upgrade is only for English. Music Player and Smart Phone App support are the biggest goodies in my view.

The PQ of Egreat always was good so the improvement will be marginal. Only for HDR including DV it is substancial. BD Menu processing is better using the Dune for sure.
Music Player in fact is simpler using the Vision series but plays flawless and supports more formats. The in the workx Movie Wall of Dune is better than what Egeat is offering with Android 7. Many even prefer the old version coming with Android 5.

If connectivity is important then you should consider going for the Pro Vision model.
Going for Ultra Vision is unknown territory for me but the DAC is 2CH only. My Zidoo Neo produces better sound for  Video (MCH) too I feel. This can be explained by using a better clock source for the motherboard with that model specifically (not the UHD3000 also owned).
I think all bigger Dune models (Pro, Max, Ultra) are using the same motherboard?

Crossing the ultra vision as its only for music,which isnt my need..
As there is less dv release i guess wont miss much,all i wanted to improve the overall pq and if possible the sound-stage..

Can you pls tell will it be upgrade or just a side track-z9x vs a5??
Btw is there any way to use egreat smartphone apps for ios/iphone??

There are IOS and Android APP's for Egreat control via Smart Phones. Only tried the Android version myself. works great with the Music Player.

For Dune versus Zidoo there are many comparisons.
For Egreat A5 versus Zidoo Z9X in very short: Everything is more advanced: Video player features, Music Player and above all Movie Wall. It is becoming quite stable too moving closer to Dune.

I couldnt find the apps,hicontrol n cetusplay isn’t available on ios,neither on phone nor on pad..
Can u pls name the apps u r using??
I think i am going to get a z9x, on your recommendation,thanks btw..

Both Dune and Zidoo use their own APP for IOS or Android phones.
