My Q10Pro never start with so shortly touch of power button, need to keep press much longer time.
For IR remote try first to change battery and check with phone camera if IR let are still working then try power ON with IR remote.

LE: if box have CFW v2.1.1-v2.1.7 then can try WakeMeOnLan or similar software to power ON from PC.

Try installing Q10Pro firmware with shortcut circuit (bootargs.bin, fastboot.bin, recovery.img) need on the USB stick up to 8GB formatted FAT32.
Extract bootargs.img, fastboot.img, recovery.img from update.zip
Rename:
     - bootargs.img -> bootargs.bin
     - fastboot.img  -> fastboot.bin
     - recovery.img == recovery.img
     - update.zip    == update.zip
- Follow process described here

Note if box come with old PCB can try direct recovery to Android 5.1.1 as is written on msg14469
