good evening. Can you recommend to me an external HD to connect via usb? Could there be problems if it exceeds 4 TByte? Thank you

Up to 12TB will definitely be OK. 16TB probably OK.

Did anyone actually try connecting a big powered external HDD (like 16 TB) to the Dune via USB?
My device is Dune HD Pro 4K Plus II (https://www.dune-hd.com/products/dune-hd-pro-4k-plus-ii).

I have already 5 small (2.5) external HDDs connected to it via USB (I use powered Orico USB HUB). Each HDD is 5TB.
Looks like I would be better off with at least one larger HDD, for example 16TB Western Digital external (3.5) HDD. Maybe later I'd add one more.

Does anyone here know for sure if the player will be able to handle an external HDDs of this size?
I mostly play very large size movie files (mkv or ISO). Large = something between 40 and 120 TB.
My DUNE has no issues reading 5TB HDDs. Not sure about big HDDs.
:)
