Zidoo Home Theatre TV Shows
« on: March 07, 2021, 05:20:48 PM »
Hi all,

I'm really interested in getting a Zidoo media player however I have a very large library of TV Shows and would like to know how the home theatre interface handles them.

Looking around the internet I can see lots of video demonstrations showing the handling of movies but nobody seems to ever show tv shows.

Could anybody point me to a video demonstration of the interface handling tv shows.

Thanks

I don't think it's possible???

If you've set "Show Watched" in the Poster View settings then, when a video which is a Movie or a one-off TV Programme has been watched, an "eye" symbol appears on the bottom-right of the movies' cover on the Poster Wall.

But, for a TV series, which may have 20 episodes (but only one cover) this would not work  :(.

TV series are a bit more complicated than single file Movies!

Keep it simple to start!

Thanks for the detailed post.... However I know how to organize and name TV Shows and episodes, what I really wanted to know is how they are handled and displayed in the Home Theatre Interface, ie. Do you get nice episode thumbnails and plot information like Kodi or is it just a simple list view of files... As I said nobody ever seems to demo that aspect in any videos they post :(
