Now if only someone could take a look at my thread about my HDD not being recognised and see if they could help me out...

About your HDD, just remove it and reconnect it, that's all.

I've tried that but no luck.

Probably best to keep on topic in this thread.

I have some terrible news.

The navbar is in fact still there..!

Instead of popping up when hovering with mouse it can be accessed by moving mouse to bottom of screen and click and dragging up.

Actually a good non-intrusive way of providing access to it.

Looks like they implemented the patch that does this exactly. I am using it as it is. I will upgrade this weekend :)
But if they implement a setting for disabling entirely is a good option though. Because it is totally useless IMHO.

My friend got this box with 3.03 12-14 firmware already installed. I was wondering what is the cause why every time he boots up the box and kodi is setup to default app, it took for about a minute to load with kodi running. Is it normal that it will load up first the home screen and stays there for about 10 to 15 seconds before it will run the kodi? I have 3.01 firmware and loading with kodi I never see the home screen when booting up the default app and it only took 35 secs with kodi already running

3.0.3 does take a little longer to boot.

If you're happy with 3.0.1 there's no reason not to use it.

How about home screen first before lunching the default app? Is this also part of the new update?

We purchase the Q5 in bulk and would like to create a re-branded version of the hicontrol or handsetformultiscreen app. Do you have an unsigned version we can work with to rebrand and distribute? How can we work on this?
