Z1000 Pro Black Screen after switching to Dolby Vision
« on: August 28, 2020, 08:15:30 AM »
I switched to DV and now black screen? I can't go back it's stuck on black screen gggrrr So far I'm slightly disappointed tbh. I only just switched a settings and now black screen. wtf

How do you set screen settings to default??? I can't see the pic anymore.  If I can't sort this I'm sending player back.  I have never had a issue with any other player.

I'm stuck on black screeen and can't see anything?  I need a way to reset default video settings?  I see nothing in the manual

black screen can be caused by HDCP 1.4 or 2.2 setting? Otherwise press the small restore button on the side?

btw, this model is just out, you can expect some or more bugs.

Pressing the Resolution button on the remote will cycle through the available HDMI modes. Press the button, wait 5 seconds. If you get a picture then good, if not press the button again. Eventually the box will cycle to a mode your TV can display and you can adjust settings visually.

Alternatively, a more dramatic solution is to do an emergency firmware install. This will wipe the box completely and restore default settings.
